I really wanted to draw a very graphic butterfly and I am quite happy with how this one turned out. I did the colour scheme with my 5 year old niece in mind, knowing she'd love this palette. This quote is one of my favourites. |

I first made this image as a Valentines Day card when I was 15 or 16 years old. When I recently came across it in an old box I thought it might be fun to do a newer version. |

I realized that I have never drawn a Dragonfly in great detail and I wanted to so what came forth was ‘Confucius’ a wise and benevolent creature done in coloured pencil. |

"Sundance"
This is one of my favorite images. I first did it as a small coloured pencil. This large, whimsical 4x3 foot acrylic version again expresses my love for nature and animals. Sundance celebrates the beauty, energy and unique spirit of my favorite animal; the rabbit (of which we have 5). |

Willow Branch Issue Resolved
I am very happy to say that after alot of effort I have not only located and retrieved not on my cards but also the work of Fran Hanover and Alice Orley-Smith. In the end all has worked out, I hold no ill will towards anyone involved and infact wish them well and better 'travels' in the future. I consider this whole thing a lesson learnt, in that I didn't loose my faith in the goodness of people and I will try to remember that we don't always know what others are going through or the reasons for their actions. My advice to artists is to keep clear and concise contracts of your dealings, have trust that your dealing with someone who respects you and your work., and if something goes array, stand up for yourself and your work but stay respectful and understanding. |
